Rudi, Rudi, Rudi thats right Rudi Johnson joins Kevin Smith in the Lions backfield.

C/mon admit you were thinking, What the heck are the Lions doin just keepin 2 backs? I thought Artose Pinball Pinner made the most of his opportunity against the Bills in the last preseaon game. But I underestimated the mind of Millen, see he knew the Bengals would cut Rudi and he made sure almost all of his draft picks were saved from the final cut. Millen is the man again in Detroit, he cuts Tatum Bell who we traded Pro Bowler Dre Bly for in order to sign Kevin Smith's backup Rudi Johnson. Yeah, that didn't sound right to me either. Let's face it Rudi will be the start by week 4, K. Smith isn't ready to be the full time starter. This year is playing out like a Mexican soap opera with twists and turns. Is Dizon going to start? Or will Ronnie Lott's boy Nece get the nod? Will Stanton play this year or will Henson steal his pspot in the roster? Will Fulton carry the ball or just be a lead blocker and what about this guy we picked up from the Chargers Marcus Thomas where does he fit in with his new high powered offense. 6 and 10? 8 and 8? 9 and 7? What will it take to make the Playoffs or somebody stop me win our Division? Anyway you slice it is going to be an exciting year. Thank you Matt Millen, Thank you Rod Marinelli, Thank You William Clay Ford. You are keeping me at the edge of my seat and I can't wait to tune in next week for another episode of As The Lions Roar. In all seriousness, let me know what topic/players you want to talk about I'm wide open. RG
