I love all these eternal pessimists out there. Grnted the Lions have been losing since long before my time, but let's be honest, none of us knows how this season will work.  Did any of you think Matt Ryan would complete his first NFL pass for a 60 yd TD in his first game against us last year?  Surprises work both ways and any year could be D-Town's.  I'm not predicting playoffs or even 8-8.  It will be a 4-5 win season, but there will be signs.  They are going in the right direction.  Delmas could turn into an Ed Reed type of guy, though probably not as dominant, and the offense will become a power, whether it's Stafford or someone they uncover/trade for.  Don't expect much, but don't sleep on 'em either.  One more good draft, they will win.
