Search for a new Coach Continues!!!

Wow after an 0-16 season finding a new coach for the lions will be like finding Bigfoot in NYC.  It's not gonna be easy but at least Matt Millen isn't helping this time.  The Lions are on the verge of a new begining and they need the right coach to start the process.  Rumors have it that they are looking into one of the Assistant head coaches of the cinderella story Miami Dolphins (Todd Bowles).  Also they have had a second interview with Titan's Jim Schwartz.

I feel that if you want to start working on building a team you need to start with a Gm then a Coach.  They Lions were riddled with injury this year but that shouldn't have made them have an 0-16 year... THey have been in the league for 75 years.  The Lions have been champions before but this was before there was ever a Super Bowl to play.  Sure the 74 Bucs were winless but they were an expansion team.... The Lions lost 11 of there 16 games by 7 or less points.  When you think about it the Dolphins won most of there games by 7 or less.  So I think wee need some players to step it up... This 5 Quarterback thing isnt' gonna work... You need someone that you can build your team around... Not Kitna, or a retired ex-Viking.  You need someone that will not get hurt after getting hit once and isn't afraid to put a little muscle behind a throw... Kitna would throw short and Culpepper should have never signed.  You need a playmaker...

Do I think we should use our number one pick on a Quarterback.... Well the answer to that is "I don't know"... but without Millen you know we won't get a WR.

Do I feel the Lions will do what the Dolphins did and go from last in the NFC North to Division Champs... Well I don't know that either... there is only one Bill Parcels unless we clone him... we might barely see .500 this year.
