We've heard it all before. The day after losing on Sunday and after spending three hours of my life that I'll never get back, Rod Marinelli says the same thing. "It's all on me. I accept responsibility." Okay, great. You accept responsibility. Good for you. Now what? Again, same as always - nothing.

On Sunday as the Lions play Minnesota, I'm willing to bet the farm that the Lions will look even worse than they did against the Bears at Ford Field. Why? Because just when you think they can't play any worse, they always do.

Hey Roy Williams - instead of making excuses, why don't you try holding onto the ball once it's coming your way and hits your hands? The whole objective here is to catch the ball. Kitna is no Tom Brady, but even Stevie Wonder would be able to catch some of the passes Kitna offers up to Williams. Ugh.

Good riddance Roy Williams! Yet another pathetic player associated with the Millen era bites the dust. He needed to go. For himself and for the team. I think the Lions got a great deal - one of the better ones I've seen.

Other highlights: Kitna on injured reserve. About time. PUT IN STANTON! The only tape that Orlovsky should be watching this week is the play where he scored two points for Minnesota. Way to go!

I'm grasping at straws to even figure out where to begin with this team. Watching the Lions every Sunday has become just like watching Groundhog Day. You already know how the game is going to end. They'll blow the lead at the very VERY end and lose the game. Bad calls will be made against the Lions (although none so awful that they actually factor into the score), and at Marinelli's press conference, he'll say that they're going to go back and look at the tapes and build on their game for the next week.

OK. This is the game that the Lions are SUPPOSED to win. If they have a chance to win any game this year, this is it. Seriously.

As Lions fans are all aware, the Lions are well known for winning games they shouldn't and losing games they should have won blindfolded. With this in mind, I'm thinking that the Texans are looking pretty good in today's game. Both teams are awful, but it bolls down to which team will play more crappy. Tough call, really.

My prediction, based on history and the Lions' sucky record, is that the Texans will be today's victors. The score? That could go either way. I'm thinking Texans 32 Lions 21.

Plenty of beer awaits...

What's going on with this page? Where are all of the mega-irate Lions fans? Have you all gone underground or something? Believe me - I'm with you! Bring on 2009.

Now that Millen's gone, we have less crap to be mad about, but the anger/disappointment can be directed to other inept leaders in the Lions camp. Marinelli, etc.

Will the game on Sunday sell out in time to avoid a blackout? Probably. I'll be there - but honestly I'm looking more forward to getting wasted before I step foot into Ford Field and having myself some kick-ass nachos. ROCK ON!

Yes - there was A highlight during the Lions/Redskins game this past Sunday.

The Lions scored a touchdown in the first half. WOO HOO!!!!!

And, true to Lions fashion, they stayed in the game just enough to let many Lions fans actually believe that they may win. AND, like many, MANY, MANY times before - they let it all slip away. Again.

The highlight of my day was my burger at the Detroiter Bar. I already knew how the game was going to go. I've seen it all before. Typically, I enjoy going to Ford Field and watching the game amongst fellow Lions believers.

However, this time was different. Normally, you sit amongst a few of the opponent's fans. Since this past game was blacked out and the Lions suck so bad that fans can't bear to witness the embarassment, we sat in the Redskins fan zone. What sucks worse than watching the Lions lose? Listening to the Redskins fans. Ugh.
