Hello everyone.
My name is Jon Haller and I am a Detroit Lions fan and I haven't had a drink since Sunday at about 4 pm.
Being on the verge of a giant goose egg in the win column and making history as one of the worst team in NFL history, my beloved Detroit Lions would drive any normal human being into an unhealthy addiction to alcohol or another illegal substance. But I say 'stay strong, fellow followers of inevitable ineptitude, our time will come'. With the firing of the biggest failure in our front office, the fog shrouding the path to glory seems to have lightened slightly as our horrid season comes to an end.
I have become increasingly more fascinated with the business side of the NFL over the past couple of years, taking a deep interest in the acquisition of players through free agency and the draft. With such a heartbreaking season underway, many, including me, have looked toward the brighter future ahead. I can't wait to share my ideas and discuss the future of the team I love and root for so passionately. With the whole team being restructure from the top down, what better of a year to start blogging about it?
